Daryl Parks Wood Art
Some of the most wonderful things can be found in the least obvious places…
About
The wood used for the bowls I make comes from naturally fallen trees and site clearance, material that would normally go to waste.
Your purchase comes with much more than a wood turning. It includes years of practice, inspiration and mistakes.
Seeing what the grain and figure of the wood look like in the finished bowl is one of the things I enjoy most about woodturning.
DP
You may be surprised at the time it takes to take a discarded log or stump to a finished product.
Some species of wood may air dry for 2 years as a rough-cut before ready to form.

techniques and finish treatments!
